Our London Tech Week event: Discover Digital Croydon, the London Tech Cluster with actual community
We’re running a fun, PechaKucha-style showcase of Croydon tech on 10 September as part of London Tech Week 2020.
From Bansky to Boxpark, street art to street food, transport links to die for and would you believe it even a palace, Croydon has a lot going for it.
But while everyone knows we produced Stormzy, not nearly enough people know that we’re home to over 2,000 tech businesses, and counting. We’ve got a sprinkling of everything including GovTech, PropTech, FinTech and GameTech and we’re super proud of how fast our digital ecosystem is growing.
That’s why we’re running an event as part of the London Borough Tech Spotlight day, next Thursday 10 September, as part of this year’s London Tech Week.
With more and more SME and larger tech companies reconsidering their HQs in the big smoke and eyeing up our borough, our session will tell London Tech Week attendees first-hand about the tech work happening in Croydon, and the friendly community they could potentially be joining.
We’ve got a super line up of friendly tech aficionados ready to give a glimpse of what goes on in the Silicon Flyover – everything from AI, VR, Robotics, Augmented reality and more.
We’re running the talks PechaKucha style which means 20 slides per speaker, each 20 seconds long to keep it punchy, fresh and energetic so there’s no chance of people nodding off!
So come along to find out more and get a bit sized flavour of our hip and happening CronxTech scene. They’ll also be time for Q&A and for a spot of networking too!
