It’s a really exciting time for us at Home Office as we embark on our journey to build the engineering profession and build our in-house capability. We’re looking to grow the profession by 350+ engineers across the next few years.

We’re opening our doors to anyone who wants to know more about working at the forefront of public sector technology. You’ll meet some of the technical teams designing, building and maintaining the technology behind the services we provide for our users.

As well as finding out about the projects we’re working on, we’ll explain how we do software engineering and the journey our delivery teams are on across London, Manchester and Sheffield.

This is your chance to see what’s it’s really like to work in modern government and to find out how agile development, user-centred design, open source and multidisciplinary teams are changing the way we interact with our users!
